You win some and you lose some

We were notified this past Tuesday, July 1st that our loan was rejected. Luckily, we had a gut feeling we shouldn't wait around and began to execute our plan B. We decided to sign the lease BEFORE the loan meeting because we knew the success of our studio was near. Parents in this town love their kids and we knew they would register for classes.

It was almost a blessing we were rejected, my level of excitement was elevated and our drive became stronger. I let all our friends and family know and the amount of support we received was phenomenal!
Classes are not even posted on our website and I have 3 sessions just about full! I've been passing out the schedule to those that email me through the website and adding their names to our registration list. The thrill of seeing all these young children in the studio busy at work brings tears to my eyes!
Hiring has started and reviewing all these amazing applications is wonderful. The talent we plan to bring to the studio will be appreciated by many.

We are shooting for a our Grand Opening to be in sync with The Harrison Street Festival the 3rd weekend in September. Our official class schedule will start in October. We just can't wait!

If we've learned anything from this rejection it's that we have faith in our Community and I know from the feedback we've gotten from people besides the bank and OPCDC, Magical Minds Studio will be around for a long time. We look forward to the next studio opening shortly after!
Cheers!
